Over the past 8 years, the Maryland Independent Lacrosse League (MILL) has grown and developed into one of the most competitive lacrosse conferences in Maryland.

The MILL conference has been a showcase for many aspiring collegiate lacrosse players,  2006 was no exception to the case.  David Spaulding standout attackman from the Calverton School moved on to Johns Hopkins, while team mate Ben Ganley is at Towson and Hunter Roof is at Queens University of Charlotte.   These are just a few of the fantastic players who graduated in 2006, there are other players that will be making noise at the collegiate level too find out updates about our alumni visit our MILL alumni page.

Prior to the 2007 season commissioner Montes worked diligently with US Lacrosse securing an All American slot for the MILL annually.  This was a significant undertaking and one that bring further respect to the MILL conference.

The MILL Conference was founded in 2000, with Bowie H.S., Eleanor Roosevelt, Queen Anne, Gunston Day, Heights, and Sandy Springs Friends as charter members. Although the conference lost the Key School, Calverton and Notre Dame Academy joined and raised the power level of the conference dramatically.

Under the direction of commissioner Jonathan Montes, the MILL Conference is committed to excellence in the sport of lacrosse. Making lacrosse in the MILL a positive, character-building experience for every athlete.
